Drawing from her personal experience of overcoming an autoimmune disease, she focuses on gut health and assists individuals dealing with digestive issues like IBD, IBS, bloating, constipation, abdominal pain, and indigestion.

She is committed to making clean products accessible to all. When not guiding others towards their health goals, Krysti enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking in the Upstate's beautiful surroundings. She finds peace in practicing yoga, engaging in HIIT workouts, and exploring her creativity in the kitchen by developing new recipes that include nourishing meals and healthy treats for her friends. The ocean holds a special place in her heart, and she cherishes any opportunity to return to its calming presence.

A Glimpse into My Story

A Massachusetts native, hailing from a family of six and residing in a small town south of Boston, I was raised on the Standard American Diet as that was all I knew. Early on, I was diagnosed with a learning disability, followed by a diagnosis of Crohn’s Disease in high school (2011). Throughout college, I was also diagnosed with Depression (2015) and then ADHD (2017). In my early twenties, I underwent treatment for severe Migraines and Raynaud’s, and later in my mid-twenties, I was diagnosed with PCOS and adrenal fatigue. Interestingly, none of the doctors ever inquired about my dietary habits or the type of food I consumed. Now, I have come to understand that everything we eat directly impacts how we feel; food is indeed a form of medicine, and what we nourish our bodies with truly matters. Refusing to accept these diagnoses, I delved into the realm of functional medicine. By immersing myself in research and consultations, I managed to reclaim my health and well-being. I have successfully eliminated Crohn’s, without medication and symptoms, by altering my dietary habits and perspective on food. Through self-education and collaboration with a functional medicine specialist, I have overcome PCOS, migraines, and Raynaud’s. While my adrenal fatigue remains a work in progress, I acknowledge that healing is a continuous journey. By making mindful dietary changes and identifying trigger foods, I have tackled numerous gut issues. If you are facing health challenges, autoimmune diseases, or chronic conditions, rest assured that you, too, have the potential to triumph over them, just as I have.

What is Functional Medicine Health Coaching?

A functional medicine health coach supports and guides individuals in making positive changes to their lifestyle, behavior, and habits to improve their overall health and well-being. We provide personalized guidance, set goals, offer accountability, and help clients navigate challenges on their journey to better health. Health coaches often work in areas such as nutrition, exercise, stress management, and chronic disease prevention, aiming to empower clients to take control of their health and make lasting positive changes.

What is Functional Medicine?

Unlike the traditional medicine model, functional medicine seeks to address the underlying, root causes of a patient’s disease or illness, rather than just treat the symptoms. It is holistic and individualistic in its approach as practitioners treat each patient as a whole, taking into consideration the individual’s genes, environment, history, and lifestyle factors.
